Went out the other day and me and christain colabelli from big fish synergy from you tube were just pulling them out of the water!! That day I was able to catch them biggens in 25 foot of water off the bank at a secret spot! I was testing some of my baits most of the day but was throwing the 7 inch citizen and sinking it straight to the bottom and letting it sit. They would chase that thing as soon as I would rip it out of the grass and start my retrieve. Soon as I would stop or misdirect the bait the bite was on!! This is one of my favorite baits to throw a specially on a hot summer day. Its a bad pic but the other ones were carupted. It was 5 pounds on the money not the biggest but was a he'll of a fight they munch that thing that bait is now retired on to the last one I have! if anyone has any citizen 7 wants to get rid of them let me know.

There’s so many bait makers now there’s no need to even support ones like this. They make a good shad glide. So does Hinkle, golden belt customs, golden swimbaits, Texas swimbaits, bgc, 3:16, AZF, Hiro, bullshad, dockrat, and on and on and on….

I would be interested in that orangish slammer trout....get you money for the pats, and take offers or put it on ebay and let it ride. Or find the peeps doing the squares (10 squares at $50 each or whatever) on fb and list it that way. Don't be nice with the pats get top dollar.

This is a bait that has been sitting at the bottom of the pile for a while. I finally decided to pick it upand make the top fin. It was the only thing that was holding me back from finishing it besides sealing it up. This is going to come in all the variations. Crank, wake, deep dive, glide, and multiple segments. Tonight after I package up some baits and put the kid down I might actually make A dumb mold of it 6 months laiter. That's how long it's been sitting there. But here it is in its beginning form.

Picked up,a,few Megadogs in the 180 size - about 7.25” and 2.25 ounces. went out last night and gave it a try - casts like a rocket, walks easy, spits a good amount of water when worked a lil faster and I actually managed a few dinks on it last night. Trust me even though they were dinks the takes are really pretty violent - can’t wait to get it over some quality bass. I was able to match the hatch for color but not size. Lol Also threw the @SacPig916 2 piece travel rat and got a few as well - nothing like a rat bite maybe tonight I’ll find some better fish

This is what happens! When your little nephew comes over and is board, wants to draw or color! You don't have anything for him! You walk away for a little while and you come back into the shop and you see him with a hand full of paint markers PERMANENT markers and he's got in the other hand one of your baits that were undecided about. Ah I didn't really like it anyways lol!!!!!

Let that dog eat. Great idea from Bob and I 100% agree. This could easily spark a lifelong passion for bass fishing. Been taking my nieces since they were so young, I had to help hold their princess rods. They’re 9, 12 and 14 now and all they want to do when they come here is fish. Awesome memories.

If you bomb swimbaits get the 300, if you tend to pitch em to targets get the 200.

150-200 is more than enough for baits up to 4oz. These are what I’m running for baits up to 4oz with zero issues with line capacity running 20lbs Sunline FC sniper on the conquest dc200hg and 65lbs PowerPro Maxcuatro on the Bantam MGL AHG

If you go with a true 200 size you'll be just fine. The Curado K is just a 150 with barely more line cap. All I use are 200 size reels and throw up to 7oz on them with no issues. I've been playing with the 18 Zillion HD for a few weeks now and I must say I'm impressed! This is coming from a Shimano die-hard for the past several years too.

Our vote numbers just came in 99.5% voted to strike, To the general public this might seem normal but in railroad terms... in almost 25 years as a railroader, We as railroaders have never been this committed and in solidarity to agree on one point ever!! My little girl is 2.she has a 5 foot quantum," it's broke rod why it's that size"with a shamono real a slap together kit. I put a 1.5 crank on the end of it with no hooks. Every time me and my wife go out to go fish she wants to pick up one of the rods I have laying there. So I made her that. She loves it! She's getting the hang of it on what the whole deal is as she watches me real fish in or when she sees my glide bait swim in. I literally think she's going to be a beast, for gods sake she was almost born when I was fishing in a rock quary! My nephew on the other hand loves to play with the baits don't like to sit and fish he's 7. I tried I got his brother that is 13 to fish and he loves it as long as I'm fishing with him tho. But he's becoming a stick!

I like 200's for those style baits but it's all up to the user.

Looked at some of his stuff and it looks nuts.

All my Dobyns are in the shop getting guides replaced so I've been using this rod. The mother glides great on 4 lb test.
