Had a Ferris Buellers day off moment today and realized it was way too nice out to be at work. Told my boss I wasn’t feeling well and had to leave. It was my eyes. I just couldn’t see myself staying there for the rest of the day. So I left and hit a few spots on the way home and this one decided to show up third cast of the day. 4 lbs 5 oz smallie on the k9. I think this is my first smallie of the year and a good one at that so I’ll take it. For anyone intimidated by stepping up to the k9 from the Tk. Definitely give it a chance. Lock it in your hand and you won’t regret it.

I motion that we start a “Blacklisted Bait Makers” thread on SU and pin it to the top. I’ve read so much of this crap on a number of bait makers over my short span in this niche that it makes me sick. I’ve had my own crappy experience with one maker that I will never do business with again, but it seems more and more like this is normal and acceptable behavior in this game. News flash: THIS IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE. We should be advertising this on this forum so new people to swim baits don’t keep getting burned like so many already have…and so MAYBE these turds don’t keep getting enough money to keep swindling the next guy/gal that hasn’t gotten the memo. Anybody with me on this?

Went out to the park for the first time since I snapped off my Queen Ghost to never see here again. Started off by an area that has always produced for me and went to work. I was throwing the Pizz Crappie Glide for the first time so I had some figuring out to do. I made a long cast and started working in the bait and get smoked. I could feel it was a good fish so tip down and I continue to grind it in. Im about to flip it in and i notice I’m on a 4-5 foot wall couldn’t do much then so up went this behemoth of a bass goes flying into the air. Stoked to say the least. Y’all need to stop supporting this clown that has the worst track record in the swimbait game. There are so many awesome baits out there made by good, honest people, there’s no reason people should still be buying FE garbage and putting up with this

99% of the time when someone says to email them, it’s a scam. Especially when they started an account in the past few days like this guy

People just need to stop buying from them. They have been doing this for YEARS with tons of threads and comments on here complaining about them. Either buy second hand if you really want a bait or don't buy at all.

I can understand everyone's concerns and they suck. I have his baby and big haters and glides. Have had no issues with any of them and have caught fish will all of them. I fished one of the baby haters so much and caught so many fish, the bait was unrecognizable, but I fish my baits hard. Have I waited for baits with all the promises...yes. Starting a black list of markers may be unfair and you may be surprised when you read some of the bait markers on it. I say do YOU, some people have a greater tolerance for things then others.

I’m surprised dude isn’t getting lit up on Instagram or FB. Just keeps posting pics of new drops, pics at shows, fat dumb and happy with other peoples money in his pocket. I thought when Phil’s took over distribution, customer service, etc that my situation would be resolved. He started out communicative and willing to help and now will not respond to messages. He’s probably thinking to himself Wtf did I get myself into. These stories continue to pop up because we "Not Allowed" on here but that doesn’t impact him one bit because it’s a lot smaller audience.

I can understand and respect that opinion, but there has got to be a way to get these types of things out there and fully understood for the community. This community has no problem absolutely crucifying individuals who scam other individuals on the BlackMarket here and they tell it from the rooftops. Hell, every member carries a “scorecard” of sorts attached to their username for all to see before doing business with so they can CHOOSE whether that individual is worth the risk of doing business with before going into a deal. I get that what I’m suggesting leaves things open to possible abuse and I’m not claiming to have all the angles figured out, but I can think of at least half a dozen makers whose names CONSTANTLY get brought into these conversations by everyone from the nobodies like me all the way to the well respected members of this community. It is those makers that I wish to hold the spotlight on and hold accountable. I’ve already started my own personal blacklist based off personal experiences within this community and then I have absolutely taken notes of whose name keeps coming up when these topics happen. I can’t expect the next new guy into the swimbait game to be as diligent as I am because, admittedly, I research things to death. My point isn’t to hurt these makers so much as to give us as the buyers the opportunity to make an INFORMED decision before we do business with them. If having their name in this list starts a fire under their rear to get their act together and make things right, then we all win and if they do start having a good track record, then they can always redeem themselves just as any person can do so. I also key in on tossing them at the best bite windows to optimize my opportunity to land one. For example, I went out last weekend and I only seriously tossed my glide for the 1st hr of day break when I expected the fish to be the most active/willing to hit something big. I only got one bite in that whole window...was a decent smallmouth but she jumped off before I could get the net in the water. Early light and at dusk/night will be your best. Night bites tend to be more aggressive. That can help build your confidence if it's safe to fish at night there. Put in a lot of time especially NOW if your fish are in prespawn mode. Your fish are looking to fatten up.

I have never owned anything FE and never will. This has been going on as long as I can remember. I cannot understand for the life of me why people still even want them. Everything FE is cursed. No matter who’s selling them, it’s always bad juju.

Yeah, definitely not ever messing with these guys ever again. I wasn't completely aware of their track record, then someone said "just read their Facebook reviews you'll want out" Sure enough...all sounds very familiar. These clowns have a pretty legit track record of being bitches. Looks like there are even people from the same "drop" as I that are experiencing the same thing. The order sitting in pre-shipment for two weeks meaning they printed the label and notified usps but haven't sent it yet. I was buying "show leftovers" that should have been my first clue to stay away... He actually got back to me last night and said he'd "look into" a refund Man i hate dealing with children.

if this helps at all, the levante was plenty capable of handling up to 7oz. this Godzilla is right at 7oz I think and it handled it fine.

Not sure I’d buy one second hand unless there was a swim video with it. I got a big hater that’s never leaving my wall cause the bill slot is not cut perpendicular to the centerline of the bait…..it’s crooked AF and the bait just spirals through the water on the retrieve. I always suspect that the baits in the BM don’t swim…..but that’s cause I only have as much faith in FE as they’ve earned lol.

I felt inspired after seeing a few people ask if the transfer tail did anything for the tk, so I slapped them rounded rear quarters on and got to work. For the first time ever I found my self casting into a school of fish.Every fish was caught in a span of 10 minutes from shore burning the tk, stuck a few other peanuts but tried to get them back as fast as I could to get more quality schoolies. Fished the tk in lip out tail mode b transfer tail in this exact cadence: *burn* pause *walk* repeat until bit. I left them biting to go trade hours of my time for swimbait paper. thanks for reading

Patience can go a long way well said man. Idk who this guy is but bums me out reading all the negative experiences he’s left behind for people. I hope everyone can get what they paid for soon. Good luck guys
