Got a couple on the slammer tonight. A 5-13 and a 5-15. It’s been a great week.

Saw my lake got another trout stock this week so I just had to go. The first 4 hours it was dead slow; the only fish I was seeing were on beds. At half past noon the wind shifted and I got into a nice flurry of active post spawn fish, all on the k9. Dumped another good fish and got several follows from bigger fish but overall I was happy with my day. Also of interest was a flock of 15-20 cormorants chasing the trout. I could literally track the schools of trout just by watching the cormorants circle the lake.

Hit another beauty on the 8” magdraft. She hit in about 3’ of water just outside a downed tree. 6lb 8oz

I have been getting out a bunch the last couple weeks. Trying a bunch of baits but they are keyed in on the K9 in this colder water. It has been hard to put it down. Here some cookie cutters from the last few trips. No bigs, but good numbers every time!

Got a couple tonight for my first two Jackall Gigantarel fish. Love the jr size and always wanted to catch on the giant size. Felt good gettin bit on a big 8” 5.4 oz hard bait

I have a wake going around, that I just got back, and getting ready to send back out. I have an 8" 5.5oz Gill glide tuned to heavy float/super super slow sink that I would like to send around, if there is interest. But adding a little twist this time around. Biggest fish by Sept 1st 2023 wins the option of keeping the bait, or continue to ship it to the next guy. If there is interest I'll start a list and get it out this week. If you can't throw a 5.5oz bait please don't add yourself to the list, it only makes sense! Swim vids are in my build thread. That is a hell of an endorsement! I did say I was open to being wrong…and I also stated I probably wouldn’t be finding out. My buddy is a card-carrying member of the PizzBJCrew () and is always sending me pics of fish he catches on his prized baits. There’s no question in my mind that there are probably baits out there that are far superior to anything in my arsenal, but there’s also no question in my mind that I will never pay that kind of money ($250 is my absolute self imposed limit at the moment) on something I’m tying on a thin piece of plastic line and throwing at high velocities as close to hazards as possible in search of giant bass. Obviously, I am not trashing anyone that does this, I just don’t have the balls to go over $250 for such things. So…maybe 3:16 is all that and more. Enjoy them! I’m not cool enough to be in that particular club

For smaller baits, 56 for me only. 41 and 36 bend too easy in my experience. After I lost a big one I went to 56 and never looked back. Haven't had a 56 bend yet and I flip everything 6 to 7 lbs and under. Just my 2 cents

I caught a couple good fish on the 8” gigantarel last night. Think I’ve found a good place to throw somethin like this. I’m interested. But like @iFishLA said, what if the bait is casted off/hung up/damaged? Not sayin it’s somethin I feel like I would do but we all know how the game goes sometimes lol.

Damn man, that sucks. He's definitely had some other sketchy posts. At one point he was saying cashapp only. No feedback, no posts outside the BM, brand new member, and posting hinkles, conquests, legends, etc. Hope you get it figured out dude. Also hasn't visited the site since April 1st...

It's all part of the game, I understand that. Same thing as a bait that gets broken. The bait is tuned heavy float/super super slow sink. So there is that. Realistically if it snaps off or whatever it is what it is, but obviously try and have a good knot/line/snaps etc when you fish it knowing it's not necessarily "your" bait. Fish it hard like your borrowing one of the homies baits. That's all I can ask!

Dude I got this one on eBay for $29 I’m fairly sure there’s still plenty of them on there in that range. I love the jr size it holds my current pb so I figured I’d give the giant a shot. I love it just as much. Such a solid production bait. Big Jackall fan

I motion that we start a “Blacklisted Bait Makers” thread on SU and pin it to the top. I’ve read so much of this crap on a number of bait makers over my short span in this niche that it makes me sick. I’ve had my own crappy experience with one maker that I will never do business with again, but it seems more and more like this is normal and acceptable behavior in this game. News flash: THIS IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE. We should be advertising this on this forum so new people to swim baits don’t keep getting burned like so many already have…and so MAYBE these turds don’t keep getting enough money to keep swindling the next guy/gal that hasn’t gotten the memo. Anybody with me on this?

Y’all need to stop supporting this clown that has the worst track record in the swimbait game. There are so many awesome baits out there made by good, honest people, there’s no reason people should still be buying FE garbage and putting up with this
