That's a nice one .

Love the Bellows Gill in the 5.8 " size great bait. The Neo 160 is definitely on my radar , I will probably give in eventually and buy one
-
Looking for a review on this bait. Thanks
-
That seems like a poor way to do business, he needs to follow up with you .

After fishing it through the spring, I can say I'm extremely pleased with the bait. It runs a little deeper than an S Waver so it wouldn't be my choice if the weeds are close to the surface. It is one of the more reactive baits I've fished, besides slow rolling with a traditional Glide I've done well with a burn and stop ( granted I'm using the slower Tranx ) and some occasional twitches . This is terrific Glide bait available at an affordable price .

nice one.

Our Governor finally lifted the ban on motorized boating so I'm back at it. This 5-1/2 lber ate a Little Creeper Bluegill swimbait.
-
It clearly thought the Hudd was real, nice one.

I picked up six that went over 5 lbs in one week when the Governor said my job wasn't considered essential. Two of them came on the Gancraft 230 Glide and Evergreen ES Flat which I included in the pictures. Also caught a couple of 4lbers on the Storm Arashi Glide and the new to me 6" Trash Fish. My other 5 plus fish came on a Mop jig and Spinnerbaits but I didn't include them on his forum for obvious reasons. So fishing wise things were going great until our draconian Michigan Governor said using a boat with a trolling motor and/or an outboard was not allowed and made you a menace to society . This is in place until April 30th, hopefully she won't extend that restriction.

My go to Wake baits for night fishing ... 3:16 Wake jr - my alltime favorite wake bait day or night Evergreen Noisy Dachs- great recommendation fron Tactical Bassin . The Wake Jr tends to make a clacking sound, this is more of a knocking sound. If you can't get a Wake Jr this is a great alternative that's readily available or if your like me you will want them both My pick for most overlooked bait - The Floating Matt lures Hardgill . I love this bait. There are times especially when fishing clear water and the when there is a full moon where it seems noisier lures are spooking the fish. This is where the Hard gill seems to excel as it more subtle and a little smaller profile. I either fish it on a straight slow retrieve, but I also like to fish it with short little rips similar to fishing a prop bait. Honorable mention - The Slammer & Spro Rat

It's etched in your mind, Congrats !

You might want to try a Strike King Mega Dawg which might be the first Strike King post on this website . I don't have a lot off time with this bait but it caught a couple oif 4lbers for me last summer and walks very easily though obviously not as wide as an 8" Punker, that said it is a very budget friendly option. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/strike-king-kvd-mega-dawg

Seeing if any of you guys have tried it and how's it's done for you. Thanks to all who may respond.

I have not fished it but here is another interesting option ….. https://carolinafishingtackle.com/collections/hard-glide-baits/products/kaesu-kotetsu

Has anyone tried the Megabass Garuda ? http://www.tackletour.com/reviewmegabassgaruda.html

I throw it on the same rod that I use to throw a 130 size Whopper Plopper which would be my Daiwa Tatula Ellite 7'4" MH Randy Howell casting rod. It is rated for lures up to 1-3/8 oz but I can sling a Strike King Mega Dawg walking bait which weighs 2 oz with it. That said I wouldn't throw anything heavier than that. Daiwa list this as a " regular " action. I got it late last summer but so far it is light and comfortable and seems to do a good job keeping the fished pinned on topwater walking baits. Very happy with it so far.

I agree with this, don't like to go much heavier than 6 ounces.
