    DD

Someday i hope to catch a To Hander.
  3. Mentioned here already,a net would be on the top of my list. When you do catch a TRUE GIANT you have got to get it in.I can't (won't) boat flip TRUE GIANTS im not used to catching them all the time as they are kind of rare and i get a little wiggy.Been a lot of times when i get them up next to the boat they go wild.Lost a few when i started throwing big baits they can and will throw baits.Wishing you had a net when a TRUE GIANT or even worse a PB comes unbuttoned is a feeling like no other.

    "last cast"

Nice fish for sure.No way after catching that one i would not have made a million more casts.Probably been late to something!
  5. Ive never lost one with a swimbait pinned to its jaw,ive lost several with DD crainkbaits in them. Was surprised how big a fish a Norman 22 will float up.Recovered a couple of them. Now if loose i always check back a couple times in the day when possible.
  6. Go back and see if shes floating wake jrs are pretty buyoant and the trebles may give her problems also..If nothing else may find your jr sounds like it catches..
  7. Nice fish for sure.Is that a special setting on your phone (color) it kinda of looks metallic the green on the bass looks great?
  8. First cast with a Pats Trout,"thinking this isn't going to get ate" five turns on the handle curr whack four pounder.Since then be ready no matter what you have tied on (sorry Pat ,wasnt going to tell).
  9. Dont wait a couple of days after stocking, get on them asap ive seen the truck pull down the ramp and the feeding starting within ten minutes.Ive also seen the trout 1000yds from the ramp the next morning.Hope this helps
  10. ^^^^^Yep^^^^^ Ive kept a fishing log book for close to 20 yrs. Here the bigger fish move up and feed between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. At least thats when the majority of my big fish have been caught. They may or not be up at other times, between those hrs is when they chew.No longer does the talk of bass staying deep in the mud ring true here.
  11. Last winter while ice fishing saw the largest bass ive ever seen or caught on my home water. We were sitting in about 15 ' of water close to a drop off that probably went to 50-60' when the screen on the camera blacked out i thought i stepped on the cord or something. When the screen was returning to normal (the fish had blacked it out) a giant was eyeballing my buddies ice fly. The fish slowly swam off, the fact that it was out cruising kind of caught me off guard.See a lot smaller fish thru the camera but nothing over 5# ever.It was cruising in 15' of water looking for a easy meal im sure. Needless to say, fished that area in the spring after ice off caught several in the 5-61/2# range. The biggest ive caught is just under 8# this fish was in a different class altogether.
  12. ^^^^^^^ Was wondering the same.Nice rod rack attatched to the ceiling by the way.
  13. God catches for sure. The few Hudd fish i have caught have ate the bait tail first....
  14. ebassfisher as noted before can make them sing.He is on Tackletour often..
