  2. 100 to 200 fish days is an outstanding trip... what a blast... I have to start throwing the floating FS perch more.. I'm addicted to the slow sink
  3. you will get her Marbles.. you know where she hangs out and girls like that got fat from being over buffet'd.. she will put on the swimbait bib again.. keep us posted.
  4. congrats to you and the wife on the little one.... that freestyle gill looks awesome..

    Net PSA

love the back ground music.. sorry Ali... it has happened to all of us..
  6. atta boy Triv... she looks like a real good fish.. did you throw her up on the scale? were you cranking it down or did she hit on top.. We fished the afternoon to dark shift yesterday for the ski... not even a follow. (I love how those OG wakes crank down on a medium to medium slow retrieve, should be killer in the spring and fall)
  7. sounds like a great time was had by all.. Always fun to hang out and share water with fellow big bait chuckers

    Mass OG HOGS

nice D-south.. putting up some great fish.. keep em coming.
  9. great fish... they love this freestyles.. the perch does well around here.
  10. you can carefully knock that pin out and order a few replacement tails.. it happens.. I have a bunch of spare tails for the hyper herring when it happens..
  11. The fs is 3:16, right? Hard to find, but if they get bit I'll start looking The MS slammer is a good bait that gets bit.. If more action is required, try cranking it down...also move to the soft baits in the summer, like dragging 68s, Rising sons, blue gill, shad, weighted 3:16 minnow, hud shad.. in the heat I like to slow down and drag them and bump them off anything on the bottom.. when the lights go out.. whole different ball game..
  12. Good Luck C at clear lake.. if those baits dont get it done, the fish just aren't bitting;-)
  13. nice D... wake to you get the big pike exploding on it.. you can crank it down just about the weed beds.. so far had one muskie snap at while cranked down and had another launch out of the water while tail slapping the pink one.. I still don't know how she didn't get hooked.
  14. sweet... looks like home..... best of luck with the move.. send pics of the back yard Swimbait BBQ.
  15. just messing with you... I never thought about the moon shadow.. good tip I picked up.. Also for tackle I use the Plano waist tackle bag, first two or three baits, scissors, pliers, license, boga grip and I use the roll on bug & Tick repellent. I like my hands free and not worrying about putting a bag down.. also its easy to run in
  16. Good Stuff Marbles... I think the E and W are backwards but I'm too scared to call it out
  17. Just got back from a muskie trip... great write up Ben! a few things he left out... The door bell rung and standing in the doorway is this guy in a bahja pull over drinking a weatgrass latte. I quickly put him in the spray tan booth (we all have one in our basements here in NJ) and made him put on a matching sweat suit while I sprayed him with no less then 20 squirts of Drakar, and let him borrow one of my gold chains with the Italian horn. I couldn't be caught cruising in the IROC with a surfer dude from Cali.. I knew right away after talking with Ben that we were going to have a good time, I was just praying the fish were going to cooperate. As soon as he poked the first one I could relax a little. Ben was on point working the hud shad and weighted 3:16 minnow during the day and the Baby wake and slammer after the sun went down, when he hooked up smoke was coming off the reel, not sure if it was burning bearing crease or knuckle hair, man that guy can burn them in.. One of my pets looked up at me with this look like what just happened, I whispered "I know right" in his gill hole and let him go . anything hooked is getting in the boat with Ben behind the reel. I was bummed out Ben didn't get that fish, he was a trooper and worked hard for the big bite.. We went deep into OT looking for another one.. Hopefully next time. Ben had to use some stock photo's for the turtle and sando to get the report up. Here is a pic of the turtle.. (not the same lettuce on your sando ben) Don't worry Chef this sando had all the trimmings.. Imported Prosciutto de Parma, Hot Cappicola, Domestic ham, Fresh Mozz, Roasted peppers, thin sliced red onion & lettuce, Drizzled with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Great time and welcomed back anytime. Anytime we can help out a fellow swimbait fanatic we should, its what makes this site so cool.
