Yes every fish I've caught on it so far the bait has separated from the hook. The baits was the same from the first fish til the last fish I hooked and broke off with it. The paint job even though in my opinion doesn't look great, it lasts much better then a Hudd. No teeth mark on it through three fish. This probably has to do with the line through design. The bait isn't in their mouth during the fight like a Hudd. Thanks man!
