Need any bait -
Need some serious advice from anyone who can offer it. Been fishing big baits for 2 years and this is the first year I’ve gone out every time and haven’t caught a single sizeable fish. I’ve been throwing depending on conditions a 11” hiro, Gan Craft jointed claw 230, 8” hudd, matt’s meathead, and a spro Rat. Absolutely nothing. I can’t seem to hook up with or even get any attention tbh. Just looking for some tips so I can get out of this drought.

Hey guys, This year I'm going to be targeting smallmouth on big baits. I'm not that acquainted on what to throw for big smallies however, I've started to buy some tournament series Mattlures in perch and catfish to start off with. Any other suggestions on some other baits (soft and hard) that I should put in my arsenal for the spring and summer? Thanks, Ryan

So I have acquired a dockrat glide bait (non jointed floater) and was testing it out today. I noticed that most of the action I got out of it was coming just from my retrieve style and speed. Wondered if anyone had any insight on how to better use these baits or if there are any tricks to getting more action out of them. Thanks!

putting together a basic swimbait arsenal, and want to know if you guys have preference for one? I like the shine glide because the 7 inch is almost half the price of a 200 size s waver, and I like the golden shiner pattern (MN fisherman so main forage is shiners, perch, and gills) since I'll already have a hudd in perch, but I hear a lot of good things about the s waver. What do you guys think?

Here are a couple of pics of my first brown trout ever. Caught it on a S-Waver 168 lite trout. 5.15 pounds. Anyone else fishing for great lakes trout/salmon?
