I know what you mean.It sucks for me cause california time is two hours behind and i've heard that releases are usually at 12 oclock at night california time from what i've heard but don't take it from me never been able to buy either.But yeah i look all the time but same ol saying SOLD OUT lol Have you got to try that Calcutta 400 and dobyns rod out yet?? I just bought a 401 calcutta and 966 G loomis 8ft love the rell and rod great for big baits but so cold where i live havent had any real luck on it yet but i'll keep trying.. HAHA!!! No kidding! I love it! Post up a pic now and then BTW I fish Old Hickory once in a Stratos tourney (before swimbaits). Big Lake Have fun! Nashville is within two hours of some of the best bass fishing lakes in the country. Kentucky, Barkley, Percy Priest, Guntersville, Pickwick, Wheeler. Just a ridiculous amount of water in that whole area. Old hickory and percy priest my home lakes the rest usually try to go to tournaments every now and again but never really do anything special more of loner type fisher. Kind of keep to myself and not get caught up in tournaments. Means more to me to catch a lunker bymself or with a friend than do good in tournament but to each his own. But yeah there are some great fishing lakes down here just my home lakes don't produce some of the big girls like in florida or california for instance.But if you want to go for numbers now thats a diffrent story can hang in that compartment lol thanks speedbead

I definately find the crankbaits everywhere and a shi-lo-d of plastic worms and creature baits that have swollen to be 3 or 4 times the regular size thanks for sharing Also wish i could find all the hudds i've lost in last year or so. Man makes me sick to think of the lures i've lost over the years. I mainly shoreline fish i have boat but often prefer to walk and sneak up on spots and thats when i loose them and mark spot take boat out next weekend and try to retreive worked a couple of times but not as much as i woould like.

Thanks everybody for the insight, its true find 1 or 2 good knots and really learn and practic on them and retie often. I know i ask alot of questions but just enjoy trying to pick at everybodys brain.Honestly don't think i can ever learn enough and using such heavy baits and bigger line it's all kind of new.Used to be a straight up braid guy but now on bigger baits i nothiced alot of my knots i used to tie on with braid just don't hold as tight as diffrent knots with mono.You guys have really got me to see the light with this whole swimbait deal have always fished diffrent and heavy kind of stuff but honestly last year or so have really just been chasing the big girls.I don't catch no where near the amount of fish i used to but now i'm going after quality for my area anyways Nashville,Tennessee Well thanks again everybody and hope i'm not asking repeating questions that people have asked amillion time I promise i will never ever ask the quetion do trout baits work in lakes that don't have trout in them. Thanks Guys some cool stories i know i live down south in tennessee about 20 miles out of Nashville if i were to find one down here would truely be shocked not many 3:16 fisherman or swimbait fishers down here but for me it's the challenge of catching that lake monster. I can catch fish just regular fishing all day long been doing that since i was a tiny kid but to chase the monsters now that is what i enjoy.Iknow the size is nothing to you socal boys i mean if i were to get an 8 or 9 man would be all over town lol. We do have bigguns but not like florida cally.But about 3 or 4 hrs from guntersville about 2and half from kentuck lakes now there are some good fish there but not everyday fishing for me. I know i'm off subject but anyways keep stories coming enjoying hearing them your getting a smile from me My PB is 8 and a half at lake Baccarac in mexico on vacation with my family about 3 yrs ago but still nothing to some of what i've seen on here lol , thanks again guys

Just fishing the otherday and was wondering man how cool would it be to run across a snagged or unbuttoned 3:16 swimbait while fishing well that is for who ever finds it and not the person who lost it lol. Well if this has ever happend please let me know just think it would be cool to hear some finding bait stories.
