I used to catch a bunch of fish, of all sizes too, on the medium sink and the floater. The floater can be fished all sorts of way. There's a trick to fishing the sinkers- don't recall who I learnt it from.
Let it sink, then sweep the rod to the side (like a hookset but much slower); you'll feel the thump. Then reel down, and repeat. Might want to mix in a few pauses and twitches.
Deep I beleive I am the one that told you to fish it like that. That is how I fish it the most.

Yes brass turns plastisol green. Yours are the worst I have seen. Anything that can withstand plastisol should work. Epoxy works well as does powder coating and I am sure there are many more that will work. Your baits that appear to be line through will might still get a tiny bit of green at the ends of your inserts because you cant coat the inside of your insert. It might not though as long as the plastisol is not touching any uncoated part. Aluminum insert won't discolor your baits.

This is caused by the plastisol being in direct contact with lead. If the lead is not coated it will turn the plastic white or even brown with some plastisols.

Yes it's mine. I plan on eventually releasing them. It has a thick layer of clear, it is just hard to tell in that picture. The joints are unique in that they are designed to be quiet. No clacking or smashing together with a smooth swim and a lot of thump. the fins are made from a very strong flexible material. I have released many different baits over the years both soft and hard. However I have more protos and unreleased baits then what I have released.

El_Weruso sorry if I didn't respond. I definitely didn't do it on purpose. I dont remember anybody asking for a tail for my surface glide. I actually dont have any extras right now but I do plan on making some more tails soon. Brocks tail does look good though. I wanted to see how your bait swims but I cant watch the video. It will play a couple seconds then pause for a couple minutes.?

my best seller is the slow sink, and its my favorite to use. However I have guys that swear by each of the specific rates.

The Hudd wins and I dont even think its arguable. I find it interesting that guys say the Slammer. I see a lot of fish caught on that bait in the right side of the country. However I haven't seen nearly the results on my side. I am sure there have been some fish caught but its completely different on the west coast. I believe the Slammer is an east coast bait.

Made by Scott Richardson. Probably at least 10 years old. They got bit, I would fish it.

I got a prototype and built one into a 12 inch non jointed soft deadstick trout. It looked incredible. I was sure I was going to catch every big bass that saw it. Nope I got some lookers but no takers. I think the noise might have turned them off. However it died pretty quick and there was no way to recharge it ( it was a prototype). I sent it back because it was dead. I think the production models are rechargable. If so I am going to try it again. It looked so good

why would anybody ever buy a manifold bait?

I thought I sent them. I guess I didnt sorry about that I must have forgotten. Send me an email again with your addresses and the tails you need.
I get so many emails, I do sometimes read them on my phone or something and forget to repond. I dont ever purposely ignore them.
Thanks Cody for letting me know

I only sent out a handful (maybe 6)and most went to east coast guys where the water is frozen. I think I will call the tail a hammer tail because of how hard it thumps. It looks totally different then a vortex tail and swims more aggressively. I should have them available soon. I the packaging has been approved and ordered. I understand the frustration and I promise they will be available soon. I also haven't decided how I am going to release them as I anticipate them selling faster then I can make them.

I do not send out tracking #s. when I do a release I almost always make a ton of baits usually 300-500. Sometimes I sell out in the first day and sometimes it takes a while. However even when I don't sell them all the first day I still at least 3/4 of them. So then I have to box up 300 plus orders and get them shipped out. that can take me a whole week. and it would take a lot longer if I had to organize and send out 300 emails with tracking. SO I don't do it. If you guys ever order something from me and its been 2 weeks then you can email me and ask for tracking and I will gladly look it up for you. I do my best to get orders shipped out quickly and I go to the post office 2-3 times a week so you don't need to worry when you place an order, You will get it and usually fast.

You guys who make baits would know better then the rest of us slugs. Now some of us know.....knowing is half the battle.
I knew very little until I went through the process and am patent pending on my new tail. I still only know a little but I see a lot of bad info posted about patents online

thank god someone said t.im so sick of the "its totally ok because everything is a copy of something" excuse.
Yes that is often used as justification to steel. The truth is there are new innovative ideas and products coming out all the time. However a lot of new ideas or products never make it because they suck, ha ha. Still there are always a few good ones that make it every year. There are also always a few good improvements that make it to.

Relax home skillet, I merely said I didn't know if it can be done. You yelled at me and made me sad. Cyber bully.
I yelled because I have heard guys say it many many times before about the copying nature thing and its soooo wrong. Completely wrong! It doesn't matter how many times somebody posts this its still going to be wrong. I see it on all the lure building sites. They post it when they are justifying not getting patents. You just happened to be the latest guy to say it so you got the blunt of my cyber bullying Ok now I am relaxed
