2016 in review : Bought more new lures, some I've only tossed a couple times. Only 6 bass five pounds and over. Look over my $$ figures setting up for retirement from my full time job. 2017 Resolutions : Settle down with 20 confidence swimbaits, cull the rest to storage. Catch another Largemouth over 8 LBS, catch another Smally over 6 LBS.

Here's the kicker Dan, if & when Fish & Game identifies the fish as a Massachusetts species, you do realize you may have released a new State Record. Your a classy guy letting all your fish go for others to pursue.

I do know that there will be more room for stock in both workshops....my Wade Hoggs & a couple of Claytons new Gills are on the way to me. Hurry up Mr. Mailman...!!

Ahhh, time to check the leaders on the tilts, check start the propane auger, sharpen the hooks, gather the winter clothes, and, try to break my PB ice fishing largemouth & smallmouth. Also, figure out how Jesse jigs his Slammer thru the ice.....

I fish big swimbaits because I want to spen my money before my wife does...LOL. But really, what got me started is the Big Guy standing 6'8", 290 LBS, walks into a Pizza shop & orders a WHOLE EXTRA LARGE pizza instead of the pay by the slice. You may not get as many hits on the big lures, but, that one hit maybe the bass of a lifetime. I still toss for the other two food groups also, Crawfish & Frogs....

Same here Adam, I've caught schools of bass in 4 feet of water on Zara's only to have the shallow bay skim over with ice the next day. I do know one thing, if I get hungry, I will go looking for food. There will be nothing that will deny me, and, I feel bass are the same. Shallow, Deep, Sunny, Overcast,...if they are hungry Nothing will deny them the oportunity to feed. I believe the common thread here is to SLooooo Down and be patient....hunger will dictate their agressivness.
