  1. Snagged a few spools of Tatsu to try out this season with a nice little discount on TW , I'm officially done with Abraz-x
  2. Because you'd be saving 50$ and buying a bait that will likely flood with water at some point, of the 50+ new styles I've wrapped, a good half of them had already showed signs of taking on water and I had to re-seal em, many of which had already started rusting out internally. Not saying you have to pick between the 2, but if it's sink rate you're concerned about, the new style has a good chance of becoming an extra fast sink at some point anyways lol.
  3. If you're OG sinks too fast all u gotta do is pop a couple holes in the weights til you get it where you want, only takes a few minutes.
  4. I'm still very happy with my Helix 9, I'm not graph savvy by any means and it is plenty user friendly, will likely be adding another to the rig. If you can afford it, Panoptix is one of the most helpful tools in the regards of not making any blind casts. Very lucky to have a few friends with that technology and it has accounted for some truly awesome experiences on the water. Wicked fun to watch them shoot up and smoke a big bait, and helps you make tweaks to your presentation by watching how the fish reacts to a bait in real time.
  5. Hell of a trip! Congrats buddy!
  6. Taking highest offer, paid a lot for it and have a bill to pay, used in great shape, couple teeth marks. Will ship thursday.
  7. You may gain a little more confidence by picking up an 8" paddletail over the hudd, at least for now while the water is still warm. Getchurself a magdraft, put the trolling motor on high, cast and cover water. You will get a few reaction bites at least.
  8. I caught a teener last week in the brand new 8-trap technique on a bluff wall with a rubber trout lure, you must just not know how to fish. Rootin for ya Stevie, swing hard and good luck brotha!!
  9. My best months are July for bites and late Jan-February for the heavyweights.

  14. I've had about 7 or 8 of em and I've never had a single issue or leak in any of them, maybe I'm just lucky but I've been pretty impressed with the consistency in swim and durability, and I smack into rocks a bit too often.
  15. Caught my PB striper at right about 14lbs drifting an og natty 250 in heavy current, fish ate a couple feet shy of the current seam and whooped my ass. Really pretty and healthy fish. Very addictive bite, can't wait to target them again! About a month later, I was also able to smoke a new PB Tiger at 44.5" on a 230 I wrapped in my favorite pattern. Typically we fish staggered blades and topwaters for these fish, but when you have zero wind, high sun and hot water, the swimbait will always be in favor. She sharked it on the end of the cast and did not come in willingly. I'll throw in some other shots of a few others as well.
  16. Looks great man, leave those eyes vertical!
  17. If ur ever down in the valley you're welcome to hop in the backseat, I usually try to get out on a friday or saturdays. hmu
  18. Latest addition is a hammershad that the fish and I like a lot, and also managed to get some baits hung up on the wall while patiently waiting for this heat to go away.
