When my buddy and i fish wake baits he's always using a rat and im usually throwing a 9in slammer or a wake jr. He catches more, mine are typically a pound or so heavier

Never used them but even on a weedless hudd weeds and grass get caught on the line tie too. Can't imagine these helping much

All i was saying was you can grab onto a 250 easier than the rest of us can. I never said you don't buy your gear, and especially wasnt saying you dont deserve what you have or you can't catch fish. Just saying guys dont specifically have to use your same gear and baits to catch fish, and even if they do it doesnt catch the fish for them. I think guys get too hyped over what someone else is using over what they know

Who cares what line he uses, he gets them all for free and probably makes money fishing them. WE have to pay. use whatever line you use

I'll be grabbing one soon if the deal falls through, but i use lexan at work everyday and i know that its nearly impossible to break. And through friends that have hinkles, i hear andrew is pretty good on helping with broken baits

For slammers the action is most important. The color might play a difference in a few bites but its really the bait that gets bit with a slammer, not the paintjob. Some guys dont even have paint left As far as 3 hours go, welcome to swimbaiting. You can go 40 plus hours without a bite

I've bed fished before, but now i like to let them be. No point in pissing them off and pulling them off the bed. Plus dragging something through the bed can cause no good to the next generation of bass
