I looked your correct tons of threads. None were on using hardgills though.

I got a mattlures hardgill. I was wondering what rods you guys use for them. I also have a deps buzzjet weighs close to the same a little lighter. I'm thinking a mh with moderate tip but not sure

Sorry it's only 37 acres. Misprint. I can throw that thing over 60yards a time and I'm fishing it parallel to the bank. Close as I can but not in the trees. Usually in the shadow of trees. I really enjoy night fishing but I'm getting a little old lol it's hard to stay up all night these days. I plan on hitting the lake during full moon next time around. Will prolly have a aresenal of lures to throw

I had it follow the slammer all the way to the boat couple days before and got a good view of her. I ordered a hardgill today. I'll be back there in a couple days try again

Last time I was on the trout filled lake I could tell they were keyed in on bluegill. They were feeding on them only. Looked like. I actually been thinking a 175 or 250. I hear those are huge. Not sure if they work here but heck I never thought I'd get a bite on the slammer either. I know there are 12-14s in the lake. Just prolly not as many as the california lakes.

Well I been throwing the slammer for awhile. Came close to catching a monster my own fault on that. No bites sense. Lake is only. 300 acres or so. So I make it around in a couple hours. What's the next bait I should throw.? I have a 8in hudd but lots of folks throw them on there or the 68special. I'm thinking I'd like a matt lures hardgill next. Any other thoughts ? Thinking maybe a lunker.
