  1. If there's one thing I've experienced making baits, it's that things always take longer than expected and issues always arise out of nowhere lol. It would be hard to keep in touch with everyone. I suggest you guys do a weekly or bi weekly email with an update with the build process. Takes you guys a few minutes every couple of weeks and keeps your customers in the know.
  2. Also interested in an 11" hiro, or a mother.
  3. Looking to trade a slow sink phoney in golden gizzard. Swam for about 5 seconds to test the sink rate. Bait is in perfect condition. Looks unfished. Looking for the following: 3:16 glides (gizzard, workhorse, gill ect.) 3:16 og arm or born again. Cash on top as well on my end. Thanks!
  4. Looks really good! The legs are probably going to be more buoyant than the rest of the bait. Should be interesting to see how it swims. Thanks for sharing
  5. That's kind of an odd thing to do ^^^^ lol
  6. I feel you dude. I could have bought quite the collection wth the amount I've put into making baits. Still, no feeling like creating a unique bait and catching fish on it.
  7. Super clever! Thanks. I've been fishing them weighted and I like it. It would be nice to shave a weighted beast hook down. That's probably what I'll do down the road. Or the suggestion above
  8. Playing around with hooks will yield some different results most likely. A suspending s waver sounds pretty awesome though.
  9. There is a review. Dig a little deeper
  10. New to swimbaiting and chucking a hinkle trout? Awesome! I've been using 30lb maxima. No issues yet but also no catches on it.
  11. Looking like a great start to a nice rat. I enjoyed the backstory with your daughter too. As for the bill, I pretty much just eye mine up. I'll usually cut it a little longer and shorten the bill by sanding the top portion of the lexan till I like how it looks. Sawing a straight slot is challenging for me when the bait is already rounded and carved. I normally cut my slots with the bait profile square so everything is really straight. I'd put it in a vise and use a dovetail saw
  12. I don't see why that wouldn't work. I've been using auto primer. It takes a lot of imperfections out if you do a bunch of coats and wet sand.
  13. Best of luck on the sale brotha. Sorry you are facing hard times
  14. You're on the right track. Good advice given above. I recommend reading some of the past threads. Tons of awesome info. Also, check out tackleunderground
  15. I'm in! You're a good man. Thanks for the constant entertainment. I hope the winner puts it to good use!
  16. And this is why people give you chit mang. New injected style are not adjustable. Just ask Don... lol
