  1. So I've seen stickers on K9's and TK's that are high vis. I've seen people put them on other glides as well. What are they called? Where do I get them? Are they overrated?
  2. I’ve been making baits for a pretty short time now but I’m pretty happy with my progress. Here are some of the baits in order of the first bait I ever made to the most recent and everything in between. Let’s hear some constructive criticism! the videos just for fun. I made it a slow sinker but after clear coat it’s perfectly neutral. It won’t come to the surface but it doesn’t sink to or touch the bottom of the bucket either... kinda cool IMG_4151.MOV
  3. One days progress on this chunky trout glide.
  4. Recently I've been thinking a lot about baits with a lot of drawing power. Baits that can move fish from the edge of visual range, fifty feet from the very bottom of the water column to inches behind your bait, right at the surface. Baits with that kind of power are indispensable, they can show you fish that you otherwise would have simply passed over. They can also earn you bites from MASSIVE fish. I know from experience and observing my own fishing that glides usually have the best drawing power, big glides especially. The footage of the pictured bait (Roman Made Chaser) features dozens of large followers. On my local lakes a BigRoid 210 has proven to have the best drawing power. Though I know many anglers are partial to large multi-jointed baits like the Triple Trout and similar. Though in finding why certain baits "draw" better than others I'm lost. Why is it that some baits draw better than others? what factors and qualities make one bait preform better than another in this aspect? What would a bait with maximum drawing power look like? I'm curious to know what the rest of you have discovered from personal experience, observation, and general knowledge.
  5. I am very new to Swimbait Underground and swimbait making in general, and was wondering if anybody could lend some tips on casting resin baits. I have Alumalite high strength 2 for the mold and am familiar with Rtv silicone and was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction for a mixture of micro balloons to resin and where to pour the lead. Thanks, John

Finally got around to putting together part two. Been struggling with editing being limited to an iPad so sorry for the audio issues. Thank you guys for the support on the last few videos though. Its good to know someones watching! Also, the fish at the end went 9.34 and is my new PB.
  7. I got into swimbaits not too long ago so I’m trying to get some new lures for different conditions and fisheries. I want a bluegill style glide bait. Maybe a deps bullshooter/Evergreen Bream Slide or anything I like that I can get on a budget. Thank you
  8. So after much debate I’ve finally decided to let go of what I’ve held onto for several years. A soft glidebait line-through. I’ve been making these for quite sometime. It has been a love hate relationship but I believe I have them ready for the public. What you see is what I’m willing to get rid of currently. I also have a few more options coming in the near future but aren’t quite ready (larger size, and weedless options) colors are limited to white, black-ish, pink and chartreuse. Ideally im looking to trade for other grassroots baits. I’m a school teacher and I want to inspire others to push the envelope in bait making. This journey has been fun but I want to share it with others. A swim video can be seen on my Instagram @david__cody Specs: 5.3 inches long tuneable sink rates ss to floating any questions feel free to shoot me a message.
  9. Looking for a 9” slammer and/or OG deps 250. Text me 310-801-3108. Thanks!
  10. Looking for one of these. Open to other similar glides. Not picky on colors, just no ghost colors.
