  1. It's the way of the world to most. People are looking for ways to screw people for their own personal gain rather than help them out. I was lucky enough to get in on Hinkles last release of shads. I have already seen 2 on ebay and 2 on here from that same release. Bunch of ass hats that need to go get a real job.
  2. Lake Ouachita is closer to Little Rock and striper heaven.
  3. Tony's a good dude. all the baits i ever got from him came around or before the promised delivery date. I know hes had some "life" issues come up recently that might have put him behind schedule. My comment was not about Tony. Sorry for the confusion.
  4. Seems I like to pay up front and then wait for weeks and months beyond the promised date seems to be the norm. Good find!
  5. I concur with lure jerk. Very nice!
  6. I use them. Not a lot, but they are good for swimming up under overhangs and docks you can't skip a bait under. They are not a bait you instantly get the feel of and make it swim right. When it's swimming right it has sort of an up and down "dog paddlin" action to them. I also tried slicing the skin, putting a screw eye in the front of it and fishing it like a swim bait with no luck.
  7. What's the specs on that large 4 piece brown trout middle left?
  8. PM's work the best. Thank you.
  9. Thank you chef. He just sold the last one right before I contacted him. Perfect timing once again.
  10. Would like to buy. PM info or offers.
  11. Well played. Flippers be like "Momma, can I borrow your credit card?"
  12. +1 from the new guy ~ I wish they would make one heavier too that would actually handle a 6-7 ounce bait
  13. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it was a Mother with issues?
  14. I have been building rods for over 45 years. The spiral wrap thing is nothing new. I don't think there is a big enough difference either way to make one better than the other. To me it more of personal taste, like handle length, cork or foam, etc. With that said, its always a great idea to try something new and see how it works our for you. Btw, all my bait casters have guides on top.
  15. Are you using heat to "set" the Createx?
  16. Be sure to remove any residual glue that is left when you remove the eye both from the back of the eye and the socket on the bait. I use Zap a Gap Medium. It one of the few cyanoacrylates that is "not" water soluble. A little goes a long way when gluing the eye back in place and its easy to make a mess with too much glue. Good luck!
  17. I think I may have to give that a try. Thanks.
