Includes 9 lures: Blackdog Baits Shellcracker Pinecraft lures 4.5" glide Biovex Gill 90 Sixth sense glide Sebile majic swimmer Livetarget topwater frog Egret baits mullet (pink), and another topwater bait.
  2. I get what your saying, you've got baits to trade rather than pay outright. I'm looking for one as well, hope it works out for you.
  3. Great looking baits, is there a swim vid I'm missing?

  8. I've seen them as well and they look good. Bass Pro had a review of someone throwing big baits and A-rigs. Anyone else try them out?
  9. I haven't seen any posts on this subject in a while and I hope my question will hopefully get us back to the original topic which is best reel under $150. My predicament is I have gift cards to bass pro that are $135. I can add $ to them to make it $150 but I don't have much more than that. Currently a brand new Lexa 300, which sounds awesome, is $200. I'd love a low-profile swimbait reel mainly for 4 oz and under baits. Any suggestions?
  10. First fish of the year and cold weather at that! Finally got one on the Deps Bullshooter! Well kinda little guy followed the Deps 160 and then I dropped the senko in to finish him off. Had a lot of followers on this big bait, working it slow about 7 handle turns, then giving it 2 quick handle turns and pause. I'm still working getting 'em to commit but it's fun learning.
  11. Great discussion guys. That Nezuma XL lip post has got me thinking. To the last post I have no doubt that mice, rats, nutria, beaver, and muskrat all swim in the waters we fish. The smaller 2 piece rats could resemble a rodent or small fish (BBZ rat in morning dawn color) struggling on top of the water. I guess my question was to more of the 3 part/ larger 2 piece rats and their action. To me these monstrosities look less like rats and more like snakes. In that light we should start painting them as such, maybe slim them up a little, and sit lower in the water kind of at the mid-line level. This brings up another topic: What colors usually work for you? If bass think these rat baits are snakes then black, brown, green, or even white make sense. Many snakes have a very white underside. So a pure whit rat might not make sense (unless you live near a laboratory) but from the fish point of view a white belly could mean a snake struggling. Since rodents do swim in our waters should we have 2 types of "rat" swimbaits: small two piece, resembling a mouse, and larger 3+ piece resembling snakes? Or just call 2 piece baits "rats" and 3+ piece "snakes"? Either way bass see these type baits as an easy meal so that's probably why they attack and why they work so well. I just want to figure out why so we can make the baits better resemble the prey, know when to use them, and catch more fish.
