  1. I am using resin. It's around 4 oz without weight. The bottom half of the bait is pure resin and the top part is resin and microballoons so it would be more stable. It is already a slow sink without any weights, but I'm adding te weight to keep it from rolling. I have slimmed down the head quite a bit and I might need to fill the gill slits in. Im thinking that has a lot to do with it. I'll swim test soon to see if that helps. thanks all
  2. It has about a 25-30 degree angle on the joint. The weights can be moved more to the middle. I'm using .5 oz weight right now.
  3. Will do thanks ...still new
  4. I know I just posted but wanted to add a pic. Bait is rolling on retrieval. Sinks level and weights are distributed ok. Could it be the width of head or belly?
  5. I am in the process of making a 10" glidebait and am having trouble with the cadence on retrieval. My bait is trying to flip over in its belly while gliding. I have adequate weight for balance and it sinks level but giving me trouble when bringing it in. If anyone one has any thoughts I could use it. Thanks SU
  6. I am pretty much brand new to the swimbait world and wanted to ask what reels would be best for specific applications. I just ordered an XH LDC rod and will be using it mostly for my 9-12" glides. What would be a good reel to pair this with?
