  5. Wanted to post in here as an update. after thorough experimenting, I found lightening the hooks made a huge difference. On the 168, I’m not full on wrenching fish either so I’m not worried about bending hooks out. Definitely have me my desired action as well.
  6. I really like this idea. Thanks for the tip
  7. Does anyone have experience trying to make an s-waver suspend? been fishing around a ton of structure and I’m tired of snagging my more expensive baits and being worried about not being able to retrieve them or in my case today, forgetting to check line after a cast and casting off my expensive bull glide. for what I’m doing, an s-waver would need to perfectly suspend. is this possible or am I asking for champagne on a beer budget?
  8. They’re absolutely incredible and I really hope so too...... they’re very responsive and the action and size is incredibly versatile

  10. Basically what everyone else said. Different strokes for different folks. One thing about braid is that if the bait your using tends to helicopter, braid is more prone to get wound up in the hooks, especially trebles. Lots of guys to braid to fluoro (leader) or braid to mono (also leader) to combat that sort of thing. Some people like that, others don’t. Don’t overlook any one line set up. They all have their pros and cons.
  11. Sorry guys, this wasn’t my intention at all. Wasn’t trying to be malicious, just trying to give a heads up.
