  1. Optical illusion the one on the right looks larger! Good luck with the sale!
  2. I have a bunch in packages shoot me a pm or email catchenem@hotmail.com
  3. I can buy lure tape locally it's used for salmon lures flashers etc. This company has everything lure tape you could want. http://www.shopwtp-inc.com/ I really don't think you have to have a swimbait brand tape to achieve what you want.
  4. Look at a Loomis Pro Blue series for the heavier baits or an LR 844 S for baits up to 2 1/4 oz. Don't go cheap on the spinning reel, the cheaper versions that have been stated have a ton of flex in the handle stem, causing all sorts of problems, I would be looking into a reel designed for saltwater jigging apps.
  5. I have 2 of them, they have taken a beating for the last 7 years and still perform!
  6. You are right alot of things could be interpreted by "better action" what I was talking about was the glide path, it seems like the newer baits have a tighter glide path, and I would like the glide path to range farther from side to side. The other thing I noticed about the new versus the old is the shimmy at the end of the glide, the newer one seems to shimmy (side to side quiver) a bit more.
  7. Thanks I used the search function, I didn't come up with the same results, thanks!
  8. I have quite a few gancraft, I have an older one ( has different model # under tail ) probably from around 2007 or 2008 can't actually remember when I bought it way before the craze, and I just bought some newer ones. The older model seems to glide farther and move differently, where as the new ones seem to have alot tighter glide and maybe even a tighter joint. I definetely prefer the older and it gets bit way more often. It helps the newer ones if I use the snap provided, where as the older one doesn't need one and it still looks better. So can I shave the joint down a bit in order to get a bit better action out of them? Has anyone attempted this? If so does anybody have any recommendations on how much to take off? My Dremel is at the ready! Thanks for any help provided!
  9. Just looking for some feedback on this rod, it's in Loomis musky series. 8.5 foot 4 to 10 oz. Thinking it might be a great choice for the 9 to 10 inch 6 to 7 oz. Hardbaits.
