  1. In between the reel seat and the first guide, in the clear coat I guess that covers the blank of the rod.
  2. Hey guys, I was out fishing the other day and I was fishing on some rocks so there was no where I could set my rod. I had the brilliant idea to try and hold it in my teeth... it ended up leaving a couple indents and knicks in the rod. Is there a way I could fill these in or smooth them out? Thanks guys
  3. Alright I'll look into Daiwa sending one. If that doesn't work, I'll pm you thastickybandit, thanks a ton man.
  4. I'm talking about the stock paddle handles, they are a harder plastic like material.
  5. Hey guys, I have a lexa 300 in the power handle and one in double paddles. I am liking the double paddles better, is there a way I could buy another double paddle handle and swap it out with the power handle? Thanks guys.
  6. Looks deadly, tell us how it works
  7. I've heard the 3:16s are great. The only bad ones I hear about are the Jerry Rago ones.
  8. What kinds of baits are you throwing? I have had a bad experience with the Jerry Rago Line Through. I have one Optimum and one osprey and it is great, I love them!
  9. Looking awesome... great job man! Tell us how it fishes.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate this. You made my day 100 times better.
  11. Kinda late here... I personally love my Gantarel. It is extremely low priced for what you get. The action is amazing, so many options with it, and the colors are great! Only downside is the paint comes off rather easily. It's defiantly worth the money
  12. Nail weights like he said ^^. I know some guys use lead strips on their hard baits, maybe that would work?
  13. Alright thanks for sending those posts, I'm not sure how I didn't find those.
  14. Thanks for sending link swimbait man, I checked it out and think I'll give the standard hook some more time. Big slant, I tried searching for about 20 minutes and I didn't find anything about this subject, maybe I was using the wrong search words? Nateraz, I think one will eventually commit so I'm going to keep trying the standard hook for a while!
  15. Thank you so much for the response! I've also heard about the bottom hook getting the larger fish in the gills and I was planning on staying away from that. I was thinking something more on the top but maybe I should just keep throwing and eventually a larger one will commit
  16. Hey guys, This is my first post on this website. My name is Matt and I am a 14 year old(15 in 4 days) fisherman. I love both saltwater and freshwater bass fishing. I have recently gotten into the world of big swimbaits. I am really enjoying this style of fishing although I am beginning to get a little frustrated. I have gotten 4 bites on the huddleston 8 inch and none have stuck. I am almost sure they are biting the back end of the swimbait and since the hook is near the front I am missing the fish. I've read up on the Butch Brown style of rigging these baits. Do you think that would help my hook up ratio? Do any of you guys fish it with a trailer hook or something? Any feedback is great guys, good luck out there. Matt

    Giveaway!

Hello Chaozu, I think this is great that you would do something like this. Fisherman like you are what keep the community great. I would love to win this! My name is Matt Ehinger and I am turning 15 in 4 days. I am a straight a's student and a freshman in highschool. I love the big swimbait fishing but money is a little tight around here, my mother and father do not have a job at the moment. My father was laid off 4 years ago but we are defiantly still enjoying fishing just as much as we were. This would be fantastic if we won this, it would help us so much. I'm so glad you are doing this, you are going to make someones day so much better! I hope you all have a great one. Spottie
