Deps 160 Bullshooter is suspending real nice after I knocked her front tooth out and changed the rear split ring to a hyper-wire #6.

I own both the H and XH (Guide Select "A" versions) and the comments here have pretty much nailed it. Though the ratings may overlap on the rods, in reality they really don't. I wouldn't pull the XH out for anything under 3oz, it just won't load, which is just about where the Heavy tops out. Unless you're going to stick to 3oz or less, you're going to need both but I'd get the H first. There is a iRod floating around here somewhere that may be to your liking as well. Hope this helps.

I think SWIMBO covered the cool points to kayak fishing, but I'll throw an ATAK 120 into the ring. It accepts a drop-in motor and supports a rudder/motor/multiple power poles simultaneously. I stand up and throw big baits w/o a problem. The major draw to kayak fishing for me was ease of access, easier storage, and less hassle all around. I trailer mine just b/c it's easier than top-loading and I can keep it rigged for the most part.

+1 Wanted to put it out there that The Hook Up reached out today to explain why some preorders were delayed and offered options to switch over to colors that were available sooner. Kudos to them for getting in front of the situation and taking action, these guys are good to go.

Nice score, damn. I was was wondering why my pre-order delivery ETA from The Hook Up was updated to "Early 2017". Too many big ballers in Phoenix to compete with .

15" on a Hudd 68 Weedless today in VA. This is cold water in a heavily pressured pond. It may help your confidence to know that swimbaits are something a lot of these pond fish haven't seen.

I recently made one but it was foldable/compact b/c I had to store it in my kayak cockpit. Running out the door now but if interested I can post some photos/how I made it. All the materials were about $30~.
