Any you Los Angeles area dudes fish this little lake? They stock it with trout like every couple weeks, got To be some trout eaters in there. I have close friend that lives a 5 minute walk away and was thinking about bringing some gear on my next visit.

Not seeing any... ok I'll get a refund... my phoney frog is about to be done so I'll just put my faith in that!

Was that the 8" bait? Any body know how the swim is on the 6 inch?

Bummer... I had been warned by nadinesmom in advance. I knew what I was getting into....

I ordered a 6 inch back in October. I just talked to him on Sunday and he told me two more weeks for my 6" to be finished. He's gotten back to me right away every time I've talked to him. I wonder if anyone has got 6" baits from that list yet?

I just got an A3 and I've fished it a couple times or so. We have been getting hammered with rain lately so the lakes have been super muddy so I haven't been fishing much. I like it as much as my Curado 300 so far. Reel is light weight and feels solid. Handle and knobs I do like better than the curado. Cork knobs are a amazing and super easy to grip even when they get wet. It had no problem hucking mags, thumper tails and nezumma rats a mile. Reel runs super smooth and has torgue for days. Brakes and spool tension work great easy to adjust. Haven't had s back lash yet. So far so good I would recommend getting especially given the price point!

It's a good rod... I personally wouldn't throw anything heavier than about 7-8 oz on it that's the sweet spot... it does ok with baits down to 3 oz...it's definitely over rated as a lot of production SB rods are... A bit of a broom stick but once you get used to it and break it in you can launch baits with it... for the price point it's tough to beat!

I use a sun dolphin pro 120... dope little boats super stable with two full sized guys standing on the casting decks... I got mine used from a friend super cheap with an outboard and trailer... might not apply to you but awesome boats if anyone is selling one used in your area!

I run 25 pline CXX and the capacity seems to be ok... I feel like it doesn't hold as much line as my curado 300 but don't quote me on that... I haven't fished it much I just got it... it's been pouring rain here on the central coast so I haven't been fishing much the last month.

Those are the only two low profile larger reels I can speak personal experience with.

I fish round and low profile and I like them both... I can't really think of any cons it's just all about personal preference... I'd say get one... can't go wrong with a curado 300 or the new 13 A3

I'd rather just buy a bait from him directly then go through Bass dynasty ... cut them out of equation and give the money to artist... his baits always looks awesome that's for sure!

They look like Melosh's baits... I wonder if he is making them for them... 300 bucks a pop is steep I am curious to see if anyone will buy them!
