  1. If you're a round reel guy, I would also look into the new conquest which comes in a 6:1 gear ratio.
  2. the level wind inst continuous its only active on outgoing line
  3. its higher quality it has micro-module gearing and a level-wind along with other features
  4. * both deps are available in jdm colors and the bullshooter is in the 160 size
  5. Hey I'm just starting out throwing big baits and need some advice. 95 percent of of the bodies of water I fish have bluegill as the only forage and 5 percent are primarily BG with a small population of shad. I was gifted with the opportunity to get the bull shooter and/or slide swimmer 175 for $50 a piece. I was wondering which to purchase first or if there was another bait in the $50 range that i was overlooking (ie Bullgill)
  6. definitely a shimano guy will look into the curado thanks
  7. Hey, I'm relatively new to swimbaiting and have decided on the tranx 300 to take over as my primary swimbait reel. However, I haven't decided on a gear ratio. This reel will throw a wide range of swimbaits from glides, to tt's, to jig hook baits such as the hudd and osprey. This reel will also pull double duty in the inshore salt throwing topwater and ripping plugs. Any response would be appreciated, thanks.
  8. There is a Bassmaster article on it. It is titled "Saga of the Secret Swimbait"
  9. Hey, I've been hunting for an inexpensive bluegill profiled glide baits. Do y'all have any thoughts or suggestions -thanks
