  1. I’ll give it a go and let you know how it goes!
  2. Would you guys recommend boiling water and then using the exacto knife?
  3. Does anyone know how to remove the shudder tail off of the OG deps 250?
  4. Does anyone have a deps 250 they are selling? Preferably a trout pattern or carp It could be the new or OG. Thanks.
  5. thats a good one. whats the weight on it? how does the bat swim?
  6. I wanted to give you guys an update. I have caught my first swimbait fish about a month ago and going to post a picture soon. it came from a multi jointed 8 inch bait. it was not from shore but since i am having boat issues I am going to be back to bank fishing. Thanks a lot swumbait underground you guys are great.
  7. Welcome to the forum! I am new to swimbaits as well and I caught my first swimbait fish recently. A couple things I learned is to experiment with different retrieves when it comes any bait try not to strictly stick to slow rolling on the bottom but more importantly stay grinding man keep throwing that hudd till your arm falls off you will eventually get a good idea of how the fish want it. Best of luck and keep us updated
  8. Do you have a video up to show how you use it? Also with what baits it will work with?
  9. Thanks guys. I have actually been throwing an old AC plug its a awesome wake bait. Since the posting of this topic I have been fishing twice. And have gotten two strikes on the hudd just from completely changing my retrieve. My current arsenal has been strictly hudds as of late and one wake bait.
  10. Thanks Tony. I think the hardest part is the mindset. 6 months without a fish with a swimbait brings down my morale sometimes. Just got to keep tossing those hudds
  11. Thanks for everyone's input so far. I'm heading to the lake tomorrow. I'm going to implement a little bit of each of your guys comments. I'll keep you guys posted on how I do. I don't have a lot of baits that you guys listed but I'm going to throw ROF 0,5, and 12 hudd to cover top middle and bottom as well as one glide bait for grass.
  12. That helps a lot! I have been trying to get my hands on an alpha trout. Do you usually spend a lot of time at one spot? Or is it a matter of covering water until you get results/ followers?
  13. I currently have been swimming for the past 6 months on and off. And I have had no luck. I primarily bank fish and am having a hard time trying even get followers. I have been throwing weedless huddlestons to avoid hang ups and what not. My questions are the following 1) is there anything in particular I should look for when fishing from shore like rocks or docks? 2) are there any swimbaits that do well in dirty water? Thanks for your guys advice in advance. I just need to get pointed in the right direction
  14. Those are some pigs man congrats!
