  1. I'm so confused. That is a mighty good looking curb though.
  2. You're right on the money. 300 sized reels are all you really need. With line, you will want to think about the type of bait that you will be throwing. A lot of people like throwing soft baits on fluoro and their hard baits on mono. 20 - 25# mono is pretty much all you should really need unless you are throwing some absolutely monstrous baits. Good Luck
  3. Is he trying to have all four rods paired up with baits tied on? With the LDC, Phenix, and Muse Black XH he could throw pretty much everything he needs or wants.
  4. XH is probably the best choice. Especially if you are going to be cranking it because it pushes a lot of water. I use a phenix XH
  5. Do you know where the leak or crack is on the bullshooter?
  6. Odds are you are gonna have to get lucky and find someone in the black market section or just wait. Pretty sure tackle warehouse is completely out of stock and back ordered quite a bit. Drt USA is most likely doing some site maintenance.
  7. Its crazy. I saw so many fish there the other day but none wanted to bite. I did however catch a dead duck. So I guess I didn't skunk
  8. For an OG that is in decent condition be ready to pay around 200 . For the new style in decent condition I wouldn't personally pay any more than 150 for it.
  9. I want to buy it, but I seriously think you should keep it. This bait is something that you might never be able to get again. Not only that, it's one of the first runs in the U.S.. My opinion keep it and wait for a rod.
  10. I personally don't own a hi float but my buddy has one and he has noticed that he isn't able to get it down quite as easily as the low float. I know that the hi float sits out of the water a lot more than the low float when they are floating. That's all that I know personally.
  11. I'm here in SD. Pm me sometime when you want a couple people to join.
  12. High float sits almost completely out of the water while the low float only has a little bit of its back and a bit of its tail out of the water.
  13. My bad, I got thrown off when you said suspend. Thought maybe you added weight strips or something. Yes it is already a low float.
  14. That's freaking gnarly. I've never had a hook bend out on me like that. Quad hooks actually run a bit smaller than you think. So it could actually become a low float.
  15. Sweet rig man. should be awesome putting some giants on the deck. Good Luck
  16. Do you happen to know the rating on it?
  17. Feathered trebles are meant to sort of imitate a fin or injury to the fish in my opinion. But many people have different theories about what they do. Odds are that they don't really do anything and it's all just stuff to make us believe in our heads that this is gonna get us more bites which means we have more confidence in the bait.
  18. flip the tail so the smooth side is up for a short glide action and use with the bill in for a cranking action. I have had success fishing around rock piles boulders and other hard structure (both visible and down below). weed lines are good places to fish it like a triple trout (burn and stop in cranking mode) or even in glide mode sometimes. other than that you just gotta mess around with it. Good Luck
  19. bassjak_ on insta. super cool dude with a talent.
  20. A boats a boat man. All I got is a float tube at the moment. haha
  21. Glides and soft baits being fished as tight as possible to the dock is usually a good bet.
