    Take what you have and go to the police department and file a report, in your hometown and in his. Then take what you have and go to the address where you sent the baits, once there proceed however the situations dictates. Talk to his mom, talk to him, get your baits or what he agreed to trade or have him pay in other ways (pain). You will probably spend more money on gas but I would do it for satisfaction and because I hate a thief, especially one that fooled me. And for the rest of your life remember, if a deal seems to good to be true then it is. Nothing in life is free.

    Ouch, been there, done that and don't want to do it again. Got myself once, my buddy once, and my dog once. After I hooked my buddy with a crank bait I really started slowing down and not hurry at all no matter what is happening, when I am fishing, boat launching, boat loading etc...

    I went in today but not for a lure, water is way down and boat trailer went off end of ramp. Stripped down and put on my shorts, that I always bring, and went in. I had to lift the trailer and get one side past the lip of the ramp. It was chilly and slippery but I managed to get one side up after two tries and was able to pull trailer out. Sucked but I dried off, changed and went fishing. No fish though, bummer. At least water was 53. Hope you get your bait back. I feel like I don’t fish as aggressive with big/expensive baits bc I am always scared I am going to lose one.
