Fall/Winter Bait Questions...Not frozen temps!
dylan628 replied to Jinxd12's topic in The Underground
Tune that Tk as a jerkbait. I’ve done that before in winter here in NY and have had amazing results. Fish it the same as you would a jerkbait but instead of a 110mm bait you’re throwing a swimbait. For the tune what I do is turn the tail I believe mode A with the original lip throw slightly heavier hooks on so it has a super slow sink and target those “deeper” waters. -

This tank needed a big cleaning. It most be a custom made tank because it was advertised as a 40 breeder but took almost 60 gallons to fill. The bichir is now in the red tails stomach and a gulper catfish was added. Currently working on a 5’ x3’ x3’ plywood tank. 6E453DAA-9CDE-4593-9DC4-9BA7E9C5CD5E.MOV

Wondering if anyone here loves to keep fish in aquariums. Native or tropical fish. I’ve got a small 40 breeder as a grow out and a 210 for my full grown fish.

It’s all personal preference but one thing to remember. Lighter wire hooks, split rings, swivels off the front all weigh the bait down. Thinner wire hooks will make it sink slower heavier wire hooks and splits sink faster and yadda yadda. Just keep that in mind

Caught one jigging for perch with a small jig and rap. Had 5 chase me all over the place with a 8” keitech but 7” sucker minnows on tip ups 60’-100’

Anyone have any success this year on hardwater? Have to be one of my best years so far. Started off with a 181 fish day. Then a 6.5-7lb largemouth measuring 24.3” and now 6 lakers in 2 days. I know the picture of crappies and gills isn’t 181 fish these are just the first 35 to hit the ice

I’ve caught em on spro rats, 316 fs floating shads, wake jrs and a few other rats. I wish they got 20” and 5 pounds. That would be the ultimate game fish

I’ve owned both baits and by far the TT would be my go to. It was my first big swimbait and it has mojo. Easily over 300 fish on that bait. It’s been repainted 1 time and is an absolute beast. I throw it on a 795 as well. Save some more money and get yourself a TT and fish it like a spinner bait over grass and you’ll have a great time

Tiny Klash. That’s all you need. Lip in no tail in at all. Burn it and kill it burn it kill it all the way in. I’ve caught big fish in 1” or less visibility doing this -
