  1. Up, looking for something with a tall profile
  2. looking for large profile shad glides. Will add other baits or cash if you’ve got something higher end. thrown once or twice to test swim. No rash. will toss in the banana no charge
  3. Thanks! That was my main priority when I started. Countless hours and prototypes later we’re getting there
  4. Crazy what a difference a decent airbrush makes. Attempted a Sacramento pikeminnow on this one. Maybe one day I’ll paint a trout pattern on a trout bait lol
  5. Thanks epp! Preciate it! I’m not quite there yet, still collecting feedback and fine tuning. Sending you a pm.
  6. 9.5” with the tail, 5.6 oz Who knows how many hours I have into this bait at this point. Finally close to having it dialed. Silky and stable at slow/ medium pace and can get some distance on a long glide. Doesn’t blow out on a fast retrieve and handles rod inputs well. Leave it to me to build a trout profile bait with no trout anywhere near me (central Texas)… so I threw a gizzard-ish paint job on it. Need to spend some more time with the airbrush for sure. Swim video: you may have to manually change to 720p resolution if it defaults to 240p.

    Wood Baits

I’ve grown fond of poplar for wood baits. Good combo of bouyancy/ workability/ hardness. for hardware order some stainless steel screw eyes from lure parts online. .072” wire should be a good size for most baits. They have smaller options if you prefer. Magnum .092” wire is good for large baits. good luck!
  9. Well done on the action. Paint looks great too
