The newer Okuma Custom Black rods are an insane value. I fished the XH this weekend, it is great for weedless beast hook or jig hook baits. The Heavy is wildly parabolic and is great for 2-3 oz hard baits as well.

You can absolutely blast the Spro Chad Shad. I have not fished an OG Chad, but assume it is similar.

I tell you this all the time, and pls don't pick me, but I gotta say the WADE HOGGS IS THE GOAT WAKE BAIT. Profile picture is a fish I caught on the Wade Hoggs cranked down 8 feet over 20' of water. Had weights on both hooks and a suspend strip to make it sink. Congrats on the ABS line!!!

I have a GX460. Here are my thoughts on the 4Runner: 5 speed trans in 2024 is insane, and the reason I went with the GX. 4.0 V6 is a great motor, if not a bit underpowered. I think the 4.0 is a much better motor than the 3.5 in the Tacoma. You don't need the TRD stuff unless you just want it for looks. SR5 4WD is super capable.
