Loudsplashbassn_
Anyone have any success turning a floater to a slow sink ? Added lead and heavier splits with heavier hooks and just got a rollover effect lol
Mml420
youd have to drill cavities i to the bait to get the weight in to correctly ballast it 168 Rookie and Loudsplashbassn_
Staogtepi
Try lead strips. I haven’t done it but it might help.

Yea tried that lol just rolled over ..most likely needs to be drilled like stated above..guess I'll just have to purchase a slow sink. chevro1et
Did you try adding weight to the hook shanks (grenade weights, lead strips) instead of to the body? Not sure if it would make a difference, but it might. Loudsplashbassn_

aholodnick
4 suspen strips on each hook shank made mine a slow sink Loudsplashbassn_
BayAreaAngler
What about grenade weights on the hooks ?
bigpoppabass
Don't do it. A true floater is valuable. Use a thicker hook on the bait to create a feeding posture on the deadstick. Loudsplashbassn_
