Going into last night, my biggest largemouth of 2022 was 3lb 11oz and that was caught on an ultralight when I was fishing for walleye. I decided to fish a lot around this full moon and try to get one giant for this year before I head off to college. Right as the moon began to go behind the hill behind me, a slight rain picked up and I immediately hooked a giant. Of course I didn't have my scale or measuring board, but measured against my rod the the largest 3 went 22.75, 20.5, and 19.75. Based on how fat the fish are in this lake, The largest one was a probably mid 6s (a 21 inch fish I caught prevuously had a similar build and weighed 6lb2oz) and the other 2 fish one approaching or right at 5lb and the 3rd mid 4s. I also managed to get the worst possible pictures of these fish but I don't really care I am more just happy to get on a decent bite after such a long drought. Not sure if the big one beats my PB of 6lb 7oz but it is for sure the longest bass i've ever caught. The Bull Rat has now caught 2 of my 3 biggest bass ever, so id highly recommend this bait.
