Jut
I got a nice hit cranking it down over a grass bed. I thought it was a nice bass but it turned out to be a pike. Just as my buddy got it in the net it rolled an cut my line. Thank god he is a good net man. I ended up getting 2 nice bass for the tournament also. FishDr
Sounds like a close call! Yet another argument for bringing (and using) a net.

00 mod
Net saves the bait! Mine flew out of my boat last trip. Time to buy a new one. Jeff
Jut
Big arm on the Que, across from the green bridge? That was at yellow creek. We been getting nice small mouth out at beaver dale and the que.
Ceaser
still not fascinated with this 'net' idea. over the years i have done fine without it. If you are throwing big baits you will need a net. Conventional not so much but chucking swimbaits your asking to lose the fish of a lifetime.. ask me how I know Byron Velvick tried it on the BASSMASTERS trail and he said one of the main drawbacks to throwing swimbaits on the trail is how many fish he lost at the boat due to no net. Big Baits and nets go hand in hand... noway around it. Its been proven by failure time and time again.
