Currently running 3 boats, 8ft pond prowler for the puddles, my trusty 14 foot sea nymph I had forever and has a ton of mojo, and last year I picked up a 2006 tracker for fishing quabbin reservoir which is a hp restricted (25 hp max or 1/2 boats rated HP) after dumping the big fiberglass money pit lol.

most of the places I fish are 10' or less, so I've been contemplating making my  own hand crank shallow water anchor using a collapsible roof rod or something. Just for those windy days where I don't want to throw out the anchor but want to pick apart some structure

Best thing to get for that boat is a MG Xi5 with anchor lock. I put one on my pond prowler and I hit the button and laugh at the wind.

Representing all ends of the spectrum there. Makes me rethink selling my older smaller Old Town Rouge River for smaller bodies of water that have limited access.

Quabbin is on my someday list, but even from here I cringe at the thought of that drive when there are fishy waters close to home.

Picked up this 2002 alumacraft fisherman 145ltd for the Quabbin last July.  Has a 20hp 2 stroke with some mods to get me going a little better since we have a HP limit.  Currently it is completely torn apart as I redo the foam, add the sonar I want and build a new casting deck.  Should be lightened up and ready to rip by the season opener this year! Can’t wait.

here is a 12’ Jon boat I built 2 season ago for pond hopping but my buddy currently has it . That was a fun project. I’m all about the tiny boats lol

They are all some sweet rigs there.

But they all don’t have to be big (cue Michael Scott….)

When my fishing partner decided he wanted a new boat, I was given the opportunity to purchase this one. Truth be told, I had fished out of the boat a few years with him and he wanted to make sure I took it over as he knew how much I enjoyed it. So he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse for the boat and trailer, and to make it even sweeter, my wife purchased it for me.

She (the boat) may be a little older, but she has a lot of life left in her, and has a lot of mojo. I’m proud of her.

This season I am adding a second 2D Sonar / GPS unit to the front to use with the US2 Transducer and would like to add a Power Pole Micro.

I had a boat that was almost the exact same except mine was an ASTRO. I have no idea how many fish hit the bottom of that boat. @Rbday1989 can you speak on this?

Bought a 15’ glasstream bass boat when I was 15. Irresponsible me didn’t like the whopping $100/month payment so I sold it. Been a shore banger since. Got into yaking 5-6 years ago and eventually got a big yak that I love with a trolling motor and can stand and fish in with ease. Two years ago I sold off enough of the swimbait collection to buy a truck and saved enough to finally get a boat. Was on the brink of buying a triton 21’ and man…..I’m so glad I didn’t. Just didn’t suit my style, my bodies of water, or my wallet. Ended up scoring a 2001 tracker pt185 with a 90 mercury. The guy said they used it once a year and the most they ever used it was one year they went on vacation and used it a whole week. And it shows. Hardly a scratch on the motor skeg. Added a couple helix 7s, a fortrex 80, trolling motor tray, and a deck extension and I have what is ALMOST my dream boat. Won some tourneys out of it, caught some piggies out of it, and it’s nice to cruise around and fish all day on $15 in gas. Maybe some day I’ll have a 21’ express. Maybe I’ll have this boat til I die. Who knows..
