flaswimbaiter
I tried to remake an old bait and finally, after and long time of procrastinating, I finally tried to carve scales, which did not come out well. I guess practice will make perfect…….eventually. Going to scrap it and start over, not happy with the action anyways. danthefisherman, Big Epp, FishinGang916 and 1 other

I thought about filling in the holes with milliput but after testing the action I thought it best to start over. I need the practice anyways LOL

Big Epp
Great start; you do really nice carving already, so I'm sure you'll pick this up with some prectice! I'm still working on gills and fins. It's a one thing at a time sort of progression for me. flaswimbaiter
flaswimbaiter
I decided to just modify this bait by changing the tail, lip and joint. The scales don’t look so bad when covered with paint and clear. Big Epp
