Started the day off with a 3+ on a Tk. 5 minutes later stuck this 5-0 on the DC slammer off a piece of wood in about 3’. Started cranking and it just got squishy so I set the hook. Water was only 58. I know there’s bigger ones here but very few bites. Gonna give em hell tomorrow morning for a few hours! Got smart and went to lighter ST-36 hooks like I should have all along and landed everyone after that including this 6-6 South Carolina beauty! Justin’s biceps about to hulk their way out of his shirt and he bangs out a 6-6. I see a direct correlation here lol. Killer fish, man! I’m thinking if the weather gets right of heading to southern Maine to a lake that put up a dirty 30 in a tourney a couple years ago in the fall. Long drive but I’ve never been and someone tells me 6s are “common”. I wanna know where @253caster Brent is at. Prob post a 7 soon, but hold his 8 for the final day lol.
