We got him for free as a puppy, someone gave him to us because he had separation anxiety issues, and would rip apart furniture and try to break through windows when he was left alone inside. I think we were the 4th family to own him, we got him an invisible fence and he was much happier outside when he was alone (after about 2 years the separation anxiety stopped). Now he's 8 years old, and sleeps all the time. The only time he isn't being a bum is when he goes fishing with me, or we go hunting, and boy does he love to hunt!
