I would like to get a group out on a local lake, and do a little meet and greet. Lake Hodges is the closest to the del mar fairgrounds I believe. Not the best lake for hogs in SD, but closest. Miramar might be a better choice to throw swimbaits from shore. I lose an average of $30-40/trip in conventional gear when fishing Hodges even from a boat.
