biggfeast
I get lazy at times when fishing and like to slow wake the slammer opposed to walking the punker, so I stick to slammers now.
Rjz21
Slammer for me. More versatile and has put bigger fish in the boat.
Batallas22
I've had a lot more luck on the slammer. The punker takes a little time to really get the walking action down but when you do the fish love it. If I had to choose I think I'd go with the slammer. Never lets me down
Mossypumpkin
Obviously a slammer for me caught small fish, big fish, fish in 1fow and fish over 20fow. Better night bait. Better cover bait. Easier to control and do multiple things with. Cranks down for those bluebird days when they refuse to come to the top or just slap at a topwater. I like my slammers...lol
CarolinaBoy4life
This guy ^ is the slammer king. He owns more slammers than I do an entire swimbait collection.
llPa1nll
I have caught way more fish on the slammer than I have on the punker. I think at least for me, a knock on the punker is that for it to work, as well as it can you really need to throw it on braid, where the slammer it doesn't matter. Dsouth
Slammer gets my vote but I can’t imagine not having a FAT wooden 8†Punker it’s been a big fish magnet the last 3 years, Slammer was the 1st SB I ever bought and has produced #s of New England LM over 7lbs including an 8lb RI LM last spring. MS is 1 of the best night time slow and steady Wake-Baits ever made……..
