codes1
Anyone know the size of guides, specifically the tip, on a 7'6" Heavy Okuma Guide Select rod? Broke the tip off, Okuma won't cover it, and I figure my only option is to just put a new tip on it and cut my losses. Thanks!

SethB
Why wont okuma cover it? They have always been great to me. I,ve blown up a few of them and never had any problem getting a replacement. i bet they will end up replacing it. If not i think i have a tip of one of the rods i blew up. I can mail it to you if you need it.

Rogervang
You'll be fine. Okuma has great service. or take it to a shop that carry the brand and usually if they have it in stock they'll do an over the counter exchange just got to pay the rod shipment. dmort0427
They should cover it. I broke mine at home and even told them that it was my fault and they replaced it
scoopdaloop
Ya I snapped my Okuma after a year and a half of fishing it hard as hell. Didn't ask a single question. Cut the batch # and Model #, send it back with 19.95. Call customer service, they are very cool.
parkermann
I live near the warehouse in SoCal and I once broke a different okuma rod and I took it there and got it replaced for free. It's nice to not have to pay for shipping

timcauliffe
Been waiting on mine to get here for the past week. Thanks to blizzards and snow storms - it's been delayed for days!
codes1
Thanks guys! The initial contact I had with them was just a quick email about their "limited lifetime warranty" and it wouldnt cover the rod. I just called and spoke with the customer service and they're getting me set up! Thanks for yalls input!
