ATLbassin28
In the lakes I fish bluegill are the main prey for the bass so I'm always looking to get new bluegill swimbaits. I have a few but have not fished extensively with them. What are yalls personal favorite bluegill imitating swimbaits? Thanks
brand_new_guy
Mattlures Ultimate bluegill is a good one, swims straight and has amazing detail. Bait is super soft so make sure you have mend it to repair any tears.

SPEEDBEAD
Here's my normal response: If you can't catch a fish on a Mattlures Hardgill, you should probably take up golf. SD032, Mason, waynem and 15 others

X2 - finding one is like finding a "four leaf clover"......there's a reason for that : VERY GOOD LURE. waynem

gcopple
cl8bait has a smaller bluegill swimmer that i seem to always catch fish on...it is smaller though and can be thrown on conventional tackle. the gantarel's look killer but i haven't had a chance to throw mine yet. I have heard of them before though and could never find any online.

Slow sinks are super hard to find but can be used in a much wider variety of conditions. If you can find it slow sink for sure.
