96tracker
Hey guys, I think I'm gonna take my boat out for the first time in a couple months. The lake has mainly smallmouth and some decent largemouth bass in it, it's somewhat deep and not a whole lot of cover. Do you guys have any tips for me? Was planning on fishing a hudd, BBZ 6" or 8", or a savage gear line through. Lots of trout and some bluegill in the lake, and it should be pretty hot and sunny, my guess is water temp in the high 70's to mid 80's. Any advice would be much appreciated guys, and thank you!! SethB
Big for smallmouth standards not swimbait standards. 7" slammer, wake jr. ,lunker punker jr. Are all perfect for that kind of fishing. Jerrystowing
bigpoppabass
Use sonar to locate bait and go from there. Structure near therocline might be ticket. gradycodd

96tracker
What lake if you don't mind me asking? Its Scott's flat lake. Private lake above grass valley, that usually has a lot of boaters on it.
