R8R Posted October 26, 2015 Report Share Posted October 26, 2015 Thanks guys when I went to the lake 2 weeks ago I was disappointed to find my way points in land or barely in the water and had no follows or a bite. And Saturday it started the same way then 2 hrs into it finally a follow, kept me fishing the area. I notice there seems to be more trout coming to the top than 2 weeks before so I was hoping the bass are starting to key off trout. Another 30 mins pass and got my first bite but I was late, An hour later a saw a fish jump about 40 yards away, on my way there I kept casting and then she bit and I set the hook and she barely move and my rod was bent over, I kept reelin and I knew she was my biggest bass I have hooked due to she was heavy, I kept her coming up top and landed her.
