Cons206
I keep mine in these cases you could buy them at carrying cases plus.com for like 15 bucks. They store up nice in the boat

timcauliffe
In my garage I store mine hanging on peg board. When I go out to fish I carry them in a Plano 1199 saltwater lure wrap. Depending on the size of your baits it can hold 10-12 baits. With it having a mesh backing it keeps air flowing through. It's compact, lightweight and only cost around $25. +1 with the Plano saltwater wrap I made a hanging box Flambeau box which just turned into not using it in that way and tossing everything into a pile inside the box. reelfish
Why hang hardbaits? Just throw them in a plano box and be done with it. If you are worried about scratches/tangles throw on some hook bonnets.
Lakeshark
I use a plano large pistol and accesory case. I used to hang my baits, but they would get rashed up and the noise would drive me crazy as I drove to spots in my car with them jingling around. Not I use the pistol case. It has two different padded storage compartments. Easy to carry, baits stay in great shape, and its slightly better in the rain than my hanging box. When the tails get bent, like on a 250, the action can suck BIG time. TmBtc12

I must admit that I take them out of the boat on hot days and when I am done fishing.
scoopdaloop
For me, I just want all my lures consolidated so I hang them in the same box. I don't think I need to hang them but I do anyways. Just preference to keep it simple.

I definitely don't baby my baits, I use the hell out of em, I figure I'm sending em off to some fithy swamp half the time anyway, and hoping some toothy critter wrecks em. These guys that sit there and collect em, prob take em out of their own individual velvet ligned cases to polish em,, baits that are allergic to water... well that's just weird to me. waynem and luckycraft
timcauliffe
The moral of the story is: Throw all your baits into a pile, into whatever box or shopping bag, and carry on. luckycraft

Rod Wynn
I recently invested in one of those Bass Mafia "Coffins" 3700 Deep.. This will now be my Swimbait "day box".. Put (2) 250's in the box for sizing reference.. Once I return back home, I usually just lay them out so they can properly dry and avoid and tail bending or anything..
