biggfeast
Check out the newbie thread in the top section of The Underground. Alot of good info on that page. Personally I use P-Line PF Original 20lbs or 25lbs for everything llPa1nll, Jerrystowing, 2833-34497 and 1 other
TmBtc12
Agree...lots of good info in the newbie thread. I personally like to throw 20, 25, and 30lb big game depending on which bait I have tied on. The only exception would be heavy braid for a rat bait. bigpoppabass
I would start with braid and it is thinner than ever.
TheGoodCat
I would start with braid and it is thinner than ever. So thin that it'll dig into itself and snap when you least expect it! bdpettit
20 lb CXX should cover pretty much everything under 5 ounces. jmftattoo, Fat-G, brock194 and 1 other

bigpoppabass
So thin that it'll dig into itself and snap when you least expect it! Yeah but you should be good in the 65lb test range...reason i suggest braid is i think after bait swms being slow is key and i am a huge fan of a slack line retrieve with a bend in my line. Braid allows you to set hook on slack line and catch up so to speak.

JackValdez
I think 20 pound power pro should do the job, you'll never lose another fish again!
Magic Man CP
Braid for topwater, my preference 50# green/blue flip & frog sunlie,, most other stuff, 20-25# sunline super natural mono, very affordable at 6.99/330 yds, every one who's tried my setups converts over instantly! I've wasted tons of $$$ to arrive to this stuff

R8R
I use P Line PF 30 lb test on every bait, since the line is thin enough the action and depth of certain baits swimming through the water is not effected. Buying bulk in 3000 yards is best for low memory. Supple line and manageable. Have caught a few good fish on it with no issue & in the end the results are what really counts. Oh yeah its also light in the wallet.
