Lakeshark Posted March 29, 2016 Report Share Posted March 29, 2016 I think the issue with line throughs, especially like the savage gear, is that a heavier hook normally wont fit in the pre designed hole very well. I ran braid for my bigger swimbait for a while, and would upgrade all of my hooks to 3x or stronger. I could never swap the savage gears for anything really heavy gauge.
