zanwhite
Is there so such thing? I have a bullshooter 160 that I really like the color of, and that I've caught a few solid fish on. After my second trip or so the paint started to chip on one side, on the back section and under the rubber pec fin. I put clear epoxy over the spots and kept fishing it, and the same place on the other side started to flake off. Anyways, now the paint is flying off of this thing and I'm wondering whether to try to stop it from happening or just say screw it. As long as the fish will still bite it, I don't care about what it looks like. Has anyone had a bait do this/ what did you do about it? Thanks! gradycodd

Lakeshark
Those colors on that bait just peel crazy fast. Pretty sure one side of mine looked worse than that after throwing it a few times with no fish. I say just keep chucking it. It will turn into a ghost gill soon enough lol. You could always get it painted or wrapped by someone if you dont like it.
MA Frog Man
Fish the paint off it. No such thing as too much mojo. Fish it till it falls apart. wallyc
timcauliffe
They will still eat the ish out of that. Keep the mojo flowing!
Volfan
It's too much mojo when the hook hangers or eye pull out. That bait's 9.5 out of 10. Cadenw16
Lurejerk
You will have yourself, your very own Shad Glide in a few more trips and I bet it will still catch fish. Wear it out! bassing305 and nadinesmom
JohnMarino
What do you apply for the paint not to peel?
Charlestonfisherman
To think it started off as just a tiny chip...
smalliebigs
Having too much mojo is kind of like having too many swimbaits... MichiganBassman
basskickinrednick
I seen some slammers that have been beat but they still catch fish, fish it until they won't bite it anymore and then retire it or paint it
zanwhite
Thanks for all the answers, I just needed a confidence booster though before I let it get really bad haha. It started as such a small chip... But a half shad/half bluegill thing will be sweet
Rod Wynn
My favorite one before I retired it..Looks like this on both sides..
rugbyfisherman
It's not paint per se, more like a hydro dip pattern. Jackall does the same I believe. Once it lifts in one spot it peels super easy. I agree with everyone just fish it!!! Or….lots of options for re-paint
