I took leave so I could get off my shift pretty early. First hour fishing with the slammer went bye with nothing. A few days earlier I did really well it. So I switched to a smaller bait. First time catching something on the wake jr. First cast with it I hear the blow up but missed. So I castes a few feet further from the blow up but retrieve it back in the same area and flush! Felt my rod get heavy and set the hook. The rest of the day was a busy but hooking up with this smallie made it worth it. I believe the final Battle, where the winners of this years monthly SUBs compete against each other, is held during the last week of October.
