Cranky
Figured some SU guys might be interested in the new smaller sizes of Tranx coming out. Right and left handed versions in two gear ratios and two sizes. Some websites are starting to show the specs. Just as a heads up. http://shop.chase-outdoors.com/catalog.php?category=109347 Darth Baiter

perfectpaul
Awesome to see. Used one this summer for striper fishing but always seemed oversized for normal freshwater applications. Thanks for the heads up.
perfectpaul
However, no 301 5.8 listed. Makes me a sad panda. massbass10
Cranky
Word on the street is both sizes, both speeds, both lefty/righty. Several other websites have had specs up and removed so... probably won't last long.
Seabashh
any idea when they are to come out?? I loved my Tranx for fishing offshore this season for large Bluefin, will be interested to see how the changes they made while downsizing the reel effects it. Looks of the reel are rad. Paul Arendtsen
Any idea where they are made? I prefer Japan made shimano
vncnt
I believe they're being made in Malaysia or Thailand. Not Japan
Knowtheledge
Got mine yesterday. The 300 feels like a 200 and the 400 is smaller than my lexa 300. Gonna strip the 300 down to see what the guts look like later today. bassfiend72, hookedonbigbaits, igl00jx and 2 others
